I'm going to keep this short and sweet mostly because I don't remember too many of the details of the past six days or so, but suffice it say, I had oodles of fun. Thank you all for participating in the merriment and supporting my drunk ass along the way. I know that without you there to drive me home or say, "No, officer we swear he talks like this all the time." I would have ended up dead, in jail, beaten, raped, or worse... married in Mexico. So thanks. I appreciate every last one of you.
So to recap-
Wednesday The Little Cave
The night started a bit on the slow side for my tastes. I came prepared with plan where I was going to drink water every second to thrid drink and take my Chaser as prescribed. That worked... for about the first hour... then all hell broke loose and the downward spiral of drunken shame followed. I apparently handled myself in a much better manner than in previous years, exchanging my dry humps for high fives. I am proud of myself for that one. I on the other hand became obnoxiously loud made sure everyone was aware that it was my birthday, so I guess not all was well on the western front. Alls well that ends well. The next morning, no hangovers, so yaay, I dodged that bullet!
Thursday Karuto's Teppan
Just your basic teppan style place. Good food with my family. You get the drill. Not much to report here, other than a nice opportunity to catch up with the people that I don't spend nearly enough time with, even though I litterally live like 20 feet away from them (seperate dwellings though).

Friday My Dad's House
Above is my father's idea of a birthday joke. I absolutely died when I saw it. I didn't think he had it in him, and then when he explained that he had to spell out mitzvah to a Chinese baker, that killed me yet again (yeah I know he got it wrong, but it's the thought hethens!). The funniest part of hanging out with my dad's side of the family was their reactions to my age. It was almost gutteral. Their hearts dropped, they started counting on their fingers, doing the math of how old they were when they were babysitting me, and then the depression hit. It even got the point where they huddled together and decided that I wasn't allowed to be 28 any longer. Under the general consensus, it was decided that I was going to be 24. They were okay with 24. That made them the right ages. That made me the right age. So yeah, I was 24, which makes my sister 19 in case anyone cares to take note.
Saturday & Sunday Mexico!
What can I say about Mexico that hasn't already been said about it a thousand times before? Cheap booze? Of course. Fun times? You know it. Good food? Hell yes. Fine women? Jesus Christ yes! I'm just sad I had to go. Papas & Beer was a great party with $1 Dos Equis and $4.50 goblets of Adios Mother Fuckers/Long Islands Ice Teas. Jorge (that wonderful muchacho) slipped me a hamilton when I bought a round of shots, but I still walked out of there ripped to shreds for around 30 bucks. Try to do that in the States! We found a great place to stay with a wonderful view and thankfully no human spiders scaled the building to steal Sandra's comedy cds. What more can I say? It was damn fun!
Monday Long Beach Arena The Who
What can I say about The Who? Honestly they're not one of my top all time favorite bands. They're somewhere in the teens for me. Don't get me wrong, I like their stuff very much, but I'm not avid if you get my drift. That being said, when I was offered this opportunity I wasn't about to pass it up. They're legends. I know this, and I also know that this is the sort of experience that I'd slap myself over missing later in life. So I went, and fuck if it wasn't one of the best shows I'd ever been to. Likely, if you're reading this then you know me, and if we know each other then we share common interests, which should include classic rock, so you by association should know The Who. If you don;t just hit me up for a cd. I'd be happy to oblige. You don't know what you're missing if you haven't had a chance to partake yet.
So I guess that's it, right? That about sums me up? My birthday is long over. My swan song already sung. Now it's time to say goodbye to all our company.... M I C... C ya real soon... K E Y... Y? because we like you M O U S E! Bye all!
