BATMAN!!! Amongst other things*

So let me begin with all the answers to the obvious questions: Batman was awesome! They really followed the comic book (Year One) rather well along with incorporating new material to really flesh out the story. I really loved the young boy they got to play Bruce as a kid. He was fantastic and really someone to watch out for in the future. Bale... what can I say? He was great and bad... but in that comic book sense of the word. Yeah, he over-acted quite a bit while in the cowl, but that's to be expected. Batman inspires fear and a deep sense of mystery. There weren't as many bumbling moments as I would have liked. Hell, the guy was just starting out, did he really have to be so completely flawless? But those minor points are not to sully the movie. It simply rocked and shall reach into my upper eschelon of comic movies. Forget Schumacher's horrid attempts at cashing in on the Dark Knight (lest we remember Batgirl and.... ::shudders::.... Robin). But yeah, for all intents and purposes, great flick. 8/10 As for the other part of my night... I really can't put into words the feelings that she* inspires in me. I am so completely vulnerable while around her. She metls through the last of my waxy barriers and touches my core. Holding her during the flick was so much better than good... it felt right. I worry that I may be getting too close, too fast, but I'm doing my best to keep myself grounded and centered. She's great, but then again, how much can you really tell about a person you've only know for a little more than two weeks? Suffice it to say, she excites me... really in ways that I haven't been excited in literally the better part of possibly ten years. Yeah, it's that good. She's an incredible person. I love watching her do the things she normally does (though it might make her uncomfortable), and really she's slowly becoming a full-fledged muse to me. I cannot hope to possess her, but I will do my best to make her feel cherished for what time she chooses to remain in my life. And, man.... what a girl! hahahahahahaha I'll leave it at that.... thanks for a great night. It will most likely inspires countless bouts of spontaneous giddy smiling.
